NOTE: This form allows you to claim your work, if it is yours.
Any details you add will be recorded as your personal attestation.
Think of it like adding your signature to a historical document—your entry
becomes a new, permanent part of its story alongside the original information.
NOTE: The original metadata will not be erased. By 17 U.S. Code § 1202 of the Digital
Millenium Act (DMCA), it is illegal to remove copyright from a digital asset.
If you add yourself as the copyright holder, then you are attesting to this fact.
If the metadata already contains a copyright holder, your name will be added,
and the asset will canonically refer, in the manifest, to the original copyright holder in the original metadata.
This process creates a transparent and trustworthy history of the asset,
protecting all parties involved with a cryptographically-bound, C2PA-compliant manifest.
